香港防癌會在過去六十多年與患者及照顧者攜手同行，提供包括住院服務、藥物資助和癌症輔導等計劃，受惠者眾！今年我參與渣打10公里跑，除咗身體力行實踐健康生活之外，亦希望為香港防癌會及癌症病人略盡綿力，希望大家慷慨解囊，隨緣樂助！ 🥳🤗

I run full marathon to raise fund for HKACS and services for cancer patients. I need your support!

Hi! I am Dr. Wilson Lee, Vice-Chairman of HKACS. This is my 13th year running for charity for HKACS at the 10km Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon. Both my parents are cancer survivors, and I have witnessed many cancer patients and their families suffering from late detection of cancer.

As such, I would like to raise funds for HKACS to help spreading the messages of early detection and screening, and also with the Charity Bed Programme, which could help the needed cancer patients and their families. Your support will be very meaningful, and every dollar counts!

My target finishing time is 57 minutes. Many thanks!

As staff members of Discovery College, this is the first time we have entered the SCHKM 10Km run as a team, participating under the banner of the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society (HKACS), to be held on Sunday 18 January 2026.

一直都好想為抗癌出多分力，所以今年決定着香港防癌會嘅跑衫去跑馬拉松，幫手為癌症患者同家屬籌款。🙏🏻
我以前都曾經做過癌症病患者嘅照顧者，親眼見到病人要捱住治療同身心痛苦，其實身邊嘅家人、照顧者都一樣好辛苦，甚至會出現好多你同我都未必留意到嘅悲劇。香港仲有好多人默默咁承受緊呢啲壓力，所以好想藉住今次機會，叫大家多啲關心癌症患者同照顧者，留意相關新聞同資源，一齊做佢哋嘅後盾。
無論你跑唔跑開步，都可以同我一齊加油，用行動去支持有需要嘅人。你嘅每一蚊捐款，都會化成治療、情緒支援同照顧者服務，陪住病人同家屬行落去。

我是Adie Lam，一隻熱愛跑步的跑手。過去曾參與渣打馬拉松半馬賽事，但今年因報名人數眾多，未能在主要抽籤中獲得參賽名額。正當我感到失望時，有幸透過朋友轉介，得到「 香港防癌會 」給予的慈善跑手名額，讓我能夠再次踏上賽道。
收到通知後，我深入了解這個機構的背景，也參加了他們舉辦的講座。我深深感受到，這是一個真正為癌症患者及其家人提供支援與希望的組織。因此，今年的馬拉松對我來說意義非凡。 我不僅是為了跑步而跑，更是為了以行動支持這些正在面對病痛的人。
跑步，是鍛鍊身體的方式，也是傳遞善心的旅程。我希望能藉著這次參賽，為「 香港防癌會」籌集更多款項，直接幫助有需要的癌症患者。你的每一分支持，都會成為他們治療與康復路上的一份力量。
